Devil's Grip

In the dead of night, Jerry awakens to find the angel of Death sitting on his couch. Death warns Jerry that his soul is in danger of being burnt up in Hell until there is not a stubble of him left.  The angel of Death gives Jerry another chance for redemption.  He only has to fulfill one request. At first, Jerry handles this task with ease. But as time passes, the struggle intensifies within him. His internal conflict deepens, spiraling him further into despair as he comes to realize that Death’s grip is tightening, making his descent into Hell seem more inevitable with each passing moment.

THOUGHTS:

Just thought it would be scary to face the Messenger of DEATH. What would happen if you were given an ultimatum to live a life of charity rather than feeding depraved fleshy needs. I think it would be difficult to rewire your thoughts and change you idea what is pleasure and the value there of.  Just living in these mortal bodies is a curse because like a 7th sense are minds will naturally want to cater to our flesh. The challenge with this screenplay is to keep it tight on the supernatural and psychological horror and not be preachy.
