TRIAL OF TERROR

LIMITED SERIES • 4 × ~60 MINUTES

Psychological Horror • Crime Thriller • Survival Thriller • Character Drama

A character-driven psychological horror series about trauma, accountability, control, faith, and the terrifying consequences of forcing people to confront what they have done.

THE STORY

Seven years after surviving a brutal assault, a deeply scarred, disfigured young woman and her charismatic, hardened enforcer lure those responsible to a remote mountaintop lodge, where she forces them to confront their crimes against her in a terrifying trial of pain, confession, and judgment.

At its center are three women shaped by their past in radically different ways—one seeking accountability through control, one turning survival into power, and one whose faith is pushed to its limits.

JENNY

CONTROL

Deeply scarred by what happened to her, Jenny refuses to let the people responsible walk away without answering for their actions. She constructs a private tribunal designed to force accountability—but discovers that controlling the environment doesn't mean she can control the people inside it.

CORA/FELICITY

POWER

Charismatic, intelligent and dangerously unpredictable, Cora has survived by turning vulnerability into power. Under the persona of Felicity, she becomes the Tribunal's host, interrogator and enforcer—while hiding the one thing she has never learned to handle: genuine emotional connection.

SERENITY

FAITH

A recent personal assault has shaken her sense of joy and security; Serenity turns toward her faith for guidance. Entering Jenny and Cora's world forces her to confront whether faith can survive when everything around her becomes darkness.

Three women. Three ways to survive. One terrifying night.

THE TRIBUNAL

The Tribunal is neither courtroom nor torture chamber. It is an orchestrated psychological reckoning where confession, consequence, and moral choice determine survival.

----

The people responsible for Jenny's suffering are brought together under circumstances they don't fully understand. One by one, they are confronted with evidence of the past and forced to answer questions about their roles in what happened.

Jenny controls the game. But Cora controls the room.

WHAT REMAINS IN THE DARK

TRIAL OF TERROR explores a fundamental question: What are people really capable of when their secrets, identities, and survival are threatened?

  • Cora believes human nature is driven by desire and self-preservation. People will indulge what they want in the dark, then fight like hell to protect the person they believe themselves to be when the light exposes their actions.

  • Jenny believes human behavior can be controlled in order to expose the truth.

  • Serenity holds onto the possibility that faith, truth, and moral courage can overcome fear.

The Tribunal puts all three beliefs to the test.

EVERYBODY WEARS A MASK

Jenny's mask conceals her disfigurement and the vulnerability beneath it.

Their reputations, relationships and public identities conceal what happened years earlier.

Cora's carefully constructed persona conceals her history, her age, and the woman underneath.

Serenity's faith becomes both her vulnerability and her strength.

The Tribunal exists to strip those masks away

TONE / VISUAL IDENTITY

A PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR EXPERIENCE

CINEMATIC • ATMOSPHERIC • CONTROLLED • EMOTIONALLY INTIMATE • VISUALLY CLEAR • PRACTICAL HORROR

TRIAL OF TERROR is designed as cinematic psychological horror rather than a conventional creature-driven horror series. The visual language emphasizes character performance, atmosphere, practical effects, controlled composition and clarity—allowing darkness to create tension without obscuring the story.

DARKNESS SHOULD CREATE ATMOSPHERE — NOT OBSCURE THE STORY.

SOUND OF THE SERIES

Music becomes an extension of character and psychology.

JENNY
Metal • Isolation • Control

FELICITY
Theatrical • Stylish • Seductive • Dangerous

SERIES SCORE
Industrial • Atmospheric • Strings • Psychological Tension

A restrained recurring musical motif moves beneath the series, while silence is used deliberately when the performances need to speak for themselves.

WHAT MAKES TRIAL OF TERROR  SPECIAL!

THREE UNFORGETTABLE WOMEN!

At over six-foot-five, Jenny is an imposing figure long before she ever speaks—draped in black, moving like a living shadow, impossible to ignore.
Her beautiful but unsettling mask conceals a mind even more formidable than her appearance; every invitation, question, piece of evidence, and calculated turn has been engineered by her.
She doesn't need to dominate the room. She designed it.

Felicity is beautiful, intelligent, witty, and effortlessly confident, she commands attention the moment she enters a room. Her dark humor, flirtatious nature, and theatrical presence make her magnetic—and sometimes strangely entertaining. But beneath the glamour is something far more dangerous: a woman with little empathy and an almost contemptuous view of humanity.

Felicity doesn't simply enter a scene—she takes it over. She can charm, intimidate, provoke, or amuse without ever seeming to try. She treats danger like entertainment and other people's discomfort like an opportunity to play.

Part Elvira. Part Maleficent. Part Catwoman. Part Baby Firefly.
But Felicity is ultimately her own creation—a sophisticated, unpredictable predator who knows exactly how captivating she can be.

Serenity is a young Black woman of genuine faith who enters a nightmare without a mask, a persona, or an agenda of her own.
She may appear quiet and vulnerable, but beneath that exterior is a principled woman struggling to hold onto faith, love, and her belief in people.
What begins as an accidental role in Jenny’s reckoning ultimately makes Serenity one of the most consequential people in the room—and changes the course of Jenny’s plan.

THE HORROR BEGINS BEFORE THE CARNAGE

The horror comes from psychological pressure, moral choices and human behavior—not simply violence.

HORROR WITH EMOTIONAL WEIGHT

Trauma, accountability, faith, control, power, and the consequences of choice drive the story.

THE TRIBUNAL IS A FRESH HORROR ENGINE

This isn't a traditional courtroom, and it isn't simply a torture chamber. It is a psychological game where secrets, accountability, fear, and survival collide.

EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE

The audience is constantly questioning who is telling the truth, who is protecting themselves, and what people are willing to do when their secrets are exposed.

PRACTICAL, CINEMATIC HORROR

The series combines disturbing imagery, physical action, blood, fashion, atmosphere, and character-driven suspense without relying on darkness or CGI to create fear
